Curate (In Charge) f/t
Rev Andy Smith
07542 570921
Hey there, I'm Andy and it's my joy and privilege to be the Vicar of St Peter's! I'm married to Debbie and have two daughters, Phoebe and Verity who keep me in check!
I grew up without a faith but around 18 years ago I gave my life to Jesus and have been following him ever since. I'm most passionate about journeying with others, and love deep conversations about things that really matter. So...whether you'd describe yourself as a follower already, or whether you've still got massive questions (don't we all!), I'd love to meet you.

Hi, I'm Mike and I am the Assistant Curate here at St. Peter's, which basically means I'm doing a Vicaring Apprenticeship. I'm married to Hannah, and we have two children, Oliver (3) and Lois (1). We moved to Evesham in July 2024 after being in Cambridge for 3 years to do my ministerial training at Ridley Hall, but before that I lived in Malvern for 10 years. I became a Christian aged 16 and have been involved in forms of Church Ministry pretty much ever since. I am responsible for overseeing our Life Groups, developing The Point project, and helping Andy with the teaching and leading of services here at St. Peter's.
When I'm not working for the church, finishing off my MPhil or looking after two very active children, I enjoy reading, watching films & my perpetual search for a good coffee. I'm also part of a Clergy D&D group in which I currently play a Firbolg Cleric who thinks he's a Wizard. You may ask questions

Hi, I’m Julie and I've been at St. Peter's since August 2024. I’m married to Steve, and we have three children, one daughter-in-law and several chickens… I have lived, worked and worshipped in the Evesham area for over 20 years. My professional background is teaching French, but I have done voluntary work with children and young people in various Christian settings since I was a teenager myself. In 2019 I heard God’s call to ‘full-time Christian work’ and, although sad to leave teaching, I now can’t believe that I get paid to do this job – I absolutely love it!
St. Peter’s is a great place to be developing this new role alongside an amazing team. I am passionate about supporting teenagers and providing safe, nurturing environments for them, but am just as keen to reach out to the schools and families in our community. I don’t know how people can do life without Jesus and want them to know His love, joy, peace and purpose for their lives!
On my days off I get outside in nature whenever I can, whether that’s out in the garden, walking, running or playing tennis with friends, but my favourite times are having the family back altogether at home around the dining table, especially now they can all cook…
