5 After 8 Prayer is a simple invitation for our church family to pause and pray together each day - wherever we are. Whether you’re at home, at work, or out and about, this short moment of prayer helps us to spend intentional time with God and build prayer rhythms into our day. By setting aside just five minutes around 8am and/or 8pm, we can join together in communal prayer that fits naturally into everyday life.

How it works
Taking part is simple. At 8am and/or 8pm (or another time that works better for you), pause for five minutes. For each of those five minutes, intentionally pray for something specific.
We’ve included some suggested themes below to help guide your prayers, but don’t feel limited by them - allow the Holy Spirit to lead you.

-
Thank God for the blessing of our church and our community.
-
Thank God for His provision in our lives.
-
Pray for comfort, healing, and peace for those who are struggling with illness or difficulty.
-
Pray for wisdom and guidance for those leading our church.
-
Pray for opportunities to connect with and bless our wider local community.
Keep in touch
Even though we may be in different places, these shared moments help unite us in prayer and remind us that we are part of something bigger - a church family seeking God together.
