Proverbs 29:18

Where there is no revelation (vision), people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction.

Reflection

​

Each of us needs revelation or vision from God, otherwise we may wander aimlessly without direction accepting that things will always be as they are now. This applies to us as individuals as well as groups of people such as our St Peter’s family. Many secular organisations have “Vision or Mission Statements” to give their staff an understanding of the direction of the organisation. The Body of Christ should be no different aside from the fact that the vision or revelation is given supernaturally by the Holy Spirit. The gifting given to each of us by God will enable the vision to be fulfilled. Consider how you can use your gifts to equip the St Peter’s family to fulfill God’s vision for His Church.

 

Prayer

Father God,

we thank You for the giftings that You give. We also thank You for the people within our Church family who have the ability to lead us forward to fulfil Your vision for St Peter’s and the wider community. Would You show us and release in us Your giftings and equip those in leadership to see Your way forward in Your timing. Our desire is to see Your Kingdom come in our St Peter’s family and bring Glory and Honour to Your Name.
